Plumber Yearly Salary

A plumber is a highly trained maintenance professional, because he has to go through an apprenticeship program for almost five years, and learns the use of a variety of specialized tools, like the soldering torch. The highest paying industry to plumbers is the glass and glass product manufacturing industry, where the plumber average salary is $ 70,000. Other top-paying industries are motor vehicle manufacturing, motor vehicle parts manufacturing, other miscellaneous manufacturing, museums, historical sites and similar institutions.

The highest plumber income is possible in Illinois with about $70,000 a year. Other top-paying locations are Alaska, Massachusetts, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
